Meet Our Radiologist

Dr. Stay is a practicing radiologist who is board certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) and is well versed in all aspects of diagnostic imaging. He has performed hundreds of expert consultations with patients and physicians in multiple patient care settings.

Dr. Stay grew up in McLean, Virginia, and attended the University of Virginia where he obtained a degree in physics. He attended the University of Virginia School of Medicine and went on to residency there, where he received extensive training in the many facets of radiology. Dr. Stay then completed a fellowship in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) at the University of California—San Diego, where he gained additional sub-specialty expertise.

A member of several professional organizations including the American College of Radiology (ACR) and the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), Dr. Stay has conducted research in several areas of radiology. He has presented at national meetings and has been published in peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Stay is the founder of Lightbulb Radiology. He lives with his wife and three children in Columbus, Georgia and enjoys soccer, golf, and reading.
